JACKSON -- Mavis Ruth Logan, 74, of Jackson, formerly of Royalton, Ill., died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1993, at her home.
She was born May 2, 1919, in Bessemer, Ala., daughter of Berney and Maude Nelson Hagler. She and Clarence I. Logan were married in October 1939, in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1987.
Logan had been an office manager at Montgomery Ward in Edwardsville, Ill., and had been an elementary teacher in Tilden, Ill. She was a member of the Unitarian Church in Tucson, Ariz.
Survivors include a son, Steve Logan of Jackson; three brothers, Gary Hagler of Royalton, Jack Hagler of Waukegan, Ill., William Hagler of Highland Park, Ill.; three sisters, Betty Borella of Santa Barbara, Calif., Mary Cavarretta of Energy, Ill., June Robins of Mulkeytown, Ill., and three grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Miners Cemetery in Royalton.
Vantrease Funeral Home at Royalton is in charge of arrangements.
