MARY ALICE OEHLER

CACHE, Ill. -- Mary Alice Oehler, 84, of Cache, Ill., died Wednesday, June 21, 1995, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 11, 1911, daughter of James M. and Alice Cleary McManus.

Oehler was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Parish in Cairo and was active in church functions.

Survivors are a daughter, Emily Taflinger of Cache, Ill.; two sisters, Rose McManus Fairhurst and Sara McManus Looney, both of Paducah, Ky.; three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. The holy rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church by the Rev. Jerome Fortenberry. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Villa Ridge.
