The city's boil water order is still in place while the Department of Natural Resources tests the well water.

Though the new well is temporary, it is expected to provide sufficient service for the community until a permanent well is completed. The City of Marston earlier received a Department of Economic Development grant for the drilling of a new well and a new water tower. Bids were opened in June with state officials now reviewing paperwork before work can begin.
