MARQUAND -- Marcella Mills, daughter of Neoma Mills of Marquand, received top honors at the 1991 VICA Skill/Leadership Olympics at Central Missouri State University.
Mills, a student at the Cape Girardeau Area Vocational-Technical School, received first place honors in the Post-Secondary Commercial Banking contest.
Approximately 1,500 VICA members and advisers attended the three-day conference at CMSU April 23-25.
Participants in this contest received top awards in their respective district competitions and were eligible to compete at the state level. First-place winners at the state olympics are eligible to take part in the national competition.
