Mardi Gras opportunities in Cape

Cape Girardeau residents seeking to celebrate Mardi Gras close to home have at least two options for some fun.

Broussard's and California Juice Club in Cape Girardeau will hold Mardi Gras parties this Tuesday.

Broussard's will offer a Mardi Gras party starting at 5 p.m. and going on until closing, with live music from The Melroys and Budweiser girls giving out prizes. The management said the event is usually popular, so expect a crowd.

At California Juice Club, live music by Doug Rees will be offered from 8 to 11 p.m. at its Mardi Gras party, which also runs until closing. There will be Mardi Gras-themed drink specials and party favors, such as masks and beads, will be given out to patrons.
