Marching: Weather was warm, but pleasant for the 56th annual Jackson Marching Festival on Tuesday.
Brass: The Freshman Chiefs tooted their own horns during the parade through uptown Jackson.
Oak Ridge: The Oak Ridge High School marching band was one of 17 different high schools represented in the marching festival.
Tuba time: Tuba and other horn players provided strength for the freshman Chiefs.
Fifes: JHS flautists kept in step as the Chiefs marched through town.
Freshmen: As usual, the Freshman Chiefs Marching Band led the festival's parade through town.
