MARBLE HILL -- A Marble Hill teen-ager was killed, and a Marble Hill man was hospitalized when their pickup truck ran off the road and overturned five miles north of Scopus shortly after midnight Saturday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victim as Noah Luttrull, 16, the passenger in the truck.
The truck's driver, Gregory Brotherton, 22, was flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. A hospital spokesman said he was in serious condition Sunday night.
The pickup truck was traveling southbound on Highway B when the accident occurred. Both were thrown from the truck.
Luttrull is the 107th traffic death this year in the 13 counties of Southeast Missouri. There were 85 traffic deaths last year.
