MARBLE HILL OPTIMISTS WILL SPONSOR MONTHLY HORSE SHOWS

MARBLE HILL -- An 18-event horse show is scheduled Saturday at Marble Hill, sponsored by the Marble Hill Optimists Club.

Similar horse shows will be held the first Saturday of each month at the Lutesville Park. Saturday's show begins at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the shows benefit youth activities in the town.

Events include lead line, pony pleasure, western halter, gaited halter, youth barrel race, open barrel race, youth gaited class, western pleasure, youth pole bending, open pole bending, youth western pleasure, fun class, open flag race, plantation walking, country pleasure class, junior plug race, fast gaited class and open plug race.

A negative Coggins test is required for entries. Admission to the shows is $2 with children under 12 free. For more information call 238-2368.
