MANPOWER ANNOUNCES NEW BRANCH MANAGER FOR CAPE

Barbara Larkins was recently named branch manager of Manpower Inc., a temporary worker help service at 106 Farrar Drive, Suite 104.

Larkins, a graduate of Sawyer Business College, previously owned and operated a specialized, temporary help service in the legal and medical fields.

She has been active in the business community for a number of years and is a member of the Cape Girardeau and Jackson Chambers of Commerce, American Business Women's Association and Cape Area Personnel Association.

Lona Barton has been named service representative and skillware administrator at the firm. Barton, who previously worked for Manpower in a temporary capacity, has extensive experience in the computer-related field. Skillware is Manpower's copyrighted training program, developed to prepare temporary people for automated offices.

Larkins and Barton are part of a five-person staff that includes Peggy Webb, Janet Heise and Martha Minton.

Manpower is a large, temporary help service designed to meet the needs of business and industry by providing temporary help during work overloads and special projects.
