A man from Oran, Missouri, and a woman from Benton, Missouri, are in the Scott County Jail after various drug and weapons charges.
Glen Adams, 56, of rural Oran was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm silencer.
Amber Patrick, aka Amber Thomure, 29, of rural Benton, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a news release from the sheriff's office, Adams had asked Patrick to leave her home Friday afternoon and called sheriff's deputies for assistance after she allegedly refused. Deputies noticed Patrick had a pipe with marijuana residue and another pipe with methamphetamine residue. She also possessed marijuana that she said belonged to Adams.
A consented search of Adams' residence turned up the homemade firearm silencer, the release said.
Adams and Patrick remains in the Scott County Jail on $5,000 cash bond.
