Man struck by car Friday on Route EE

SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- A Sedgewickville man was injured Friday evening when he was struck by a car on Route EE west of Sedgewickville as he was exiting a farm tractor, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. Trusten D. Bollinger, 38, sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Troy L. Cowell, 43, of Sedgewickville was traveling eastbound on Route EE about 1 mile west of Sedgewickville at about 7:50 p.m. when Bollinger got out of the tractor and walked into the path of his car, the patrol reported. Cowell was not injured.
