FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. (AP) -- A 27-year-old man has died after being stabbed during an altercation at a home in the eastern Missouri town of Fredericktown.
Police told the Park Hills Daily Journal that James Kissel of Fredericktown was involved in the altercation Monday night, and died later that night at a hospital.
A suspect, 24-year-old Waylon Ray Hedrick of Potosi, is jailed on $750,000 bond. He is charged with first-degree murder. It wasn't immediately clear if Hedrick had an attorney.
