ST. LOUIS -- A 21-year-old man was stabbed to death Tuesday at a St. Louis facility that helps and shelters the homeless, and a suspect is in custody.
The victim was identified as Jeremy Dunlap. The name of the suspect has not been released.
Police said the suspect was found a few blocks away and taken back to the New Life Evangelistic Center. Witnesses identified him as the assailant. Police said the suspect was angry because he was assaulted earlier in the day, though the victim was not involved.
It was the second attack in the past month at one of the facilities operated by the Rev. Larry Rice. On Jan. 19, four people were injured at a New Life training center in the central Missouri town of New Bloomfield when a 28-year-old man with schizophrenia attacked four staff members with a chainsaw and a knife.
