Man sought in connection with Charleston shooting

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- A search is underway for a Charleston man wanted in connection with a shooting late last week.

Teco Woods, 31, is charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The charges stem from an incident Thursday when officers from the Charleston Department of Public Safety received a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Gail Street.

Department director Robert Hearnes said the man injured in the shooting is Larico Coleman, 35, of Charleston.
