A Leopold, Missouri, man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident early Friday in Bollinger County. Caleb Wolpers, 23, was driving his 2015 Hyundai north on Route B in Scopus when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report. The vehicle struck a culvert, went airborne, then struck a fence and utility pole and fence and overturned, the report said. Wolpers was transported by ambulance to a Cape Girardeau hospital for treatment.
