FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. -- A male civilian was fatally shot during a robbery at a recreation center at Fort Leonard Wood military installation, officials said Friday.
Several people -- including at least one who had a gun -- entered the Davis Club about 11:20 p.m. Thursday after a bingo game, Lt. Col. Derik Crotts said.
During the robbery, a man at the center was shot, Crotts said. The man was from the Pulaski County area, but no other details were being released until relatives could be notified.
The FBI and the Army's criminal investigation command were continuing to investigate, Crotts said.
