State Troopers found the remains of an individual on the railroad tracks between Highway 146 and Davie Street in Anna, said trooper Bridget Rice in a prepared statement.

The train's engineer told police the victim was curled between the tracks in a fetal position. The engineer didn't notice any movement by the individual, if there was any, because the train had been going too fast.
