MAN HURT IN CRASH WITH SCHOOL BUS

BLOOMFIELD -- A Puxico man suffered moderate injuries Monday when his vehicle and a school bus collided at the crest of a hill near Bloomfield.

Timothy Hart, 26, was taken to Dexter Memorial Hospital after the 3:38 p.m. accident on County Road 249, seven miles northwest of Bloomfield.

The driver of the bus, O. Hicks of Bloomfield, was not injured. A spokesman for the Missouri Highway Patrol said none of the students on the bus was injured.

According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as Hart's vehicle crested a hill on the wrong side of the road and struck the school bus almost head-on.
