A Cedar Hill, Mo., man accused of using a video camera in a women's restroom pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy and was sentenced Monday morning in Cape Girardeau County Circuit Court.
Frank Fuchs, 52, was arrested Aug. 5 at the Silver Springs Office Complex, 351 S. Silver Springs Road, after a female soldier from the U.S. Army recruiting office in the building discovered a video camera under a restroom stall wall, court records show.
The state recommended Fuchs -- who was sentenced to three years in the Department of Corrections for a similar offense in November in Jefferson County, Mo. -- serve four years in prison for the class D felony. Judge William Syler honored the recommendation in his sentencing.
