A Cape Girardeau man faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute after a package of cocaine allegedly fell out of his pocket while he was at work.
Felix A. Jones, 45, of Cape Girardeau was standing alone Wednesday in the office of Rent One at 402 S. Kingshighway when a baggie of cocaine fell out of his pocket, according to the probable-cause statement from Cape Girardeau Police patrolman Ryan Droege.
Jones' boss found the baggie on the floor, featuring packaged cocaine prepared for sale, and he went back through surveillance footage to determine Jones was the only one in the room at the time the cocaine was left, Droege's statement states.
An arrest warrant was issued Thursday, with a bond of $20,000.
