Man dead after Sunday crash in Perry County
An East Prairie, Mo., man is dead following a Sunday night rollover crash on southbound Interstate 55 in Perry County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The one-vehicle crash occurred around 9 p.m., when James Parson, 72, overcorrected, crossing both lanes of the interstate. Parson then traveled off the west side of the road and overturned into a drainage ditch. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene...

The one-vehicle crash occurred around 9 p.m., when James Parson, 72, overcorrected, crossing both lanes of the interstate. Parson then traveled off the west side of the road and overturned into a drainage ditch. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Occupant Joan Parson, 68, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
