Sean Williams, 33, faces up to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of first-degree child molestation Wednesday evening, according to a news release from Cape Girardeau County Prosecuting Attorney Chris Limbaugh.

The victim testified that the abuse occurred several times over the last five years, Limbaugh reported.

Williams denied abusing the victim or ever being alone with her, Limbaugh reported.

A jury of eight women and four men found Williams guilty after less than two hours of deliberation, Limbaugh said.

Sentencing is set for Aug. 12.
