The victim, a teenager, was at home in bed about 5:30 a.m. Sunday when she was attacked by a man with a knife who entered the home through a window, Glueck said. The victim reported that the man climbed on top of her but fled when another resident of the home, who heard the struggle, entered the bedroom, Glueck said.

Glueck declined to give the location of the attempted rape and burglary.
