An arrest has been made in the July 28 shooting on Hanover Street in Cape Girardeau.
Gabriel Derice Houseman, 20, of Cape Girardeau was arrested Friday and charged in connection to the shooting, Cape Girardeau Police Sgt. Adam Glueck said.
Houseman has been charged with first-degree assault, a class A felony, and felony armed criminal action. His bond was set at $125,000.
Police responded to a call in the 200 block of South Hanover Street on July 28 about a man who had been shot in the parking lot of an apartment building. The 22-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his side and is expected to recover.
