A suspect is in custody after an investigation this month by Jackson police and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
After obtaining a search warrant, officers with the Jackson Police Department Special Response Team and the patrol division, as well as DEA agents, searched a home in the 400 block of Kate Street, according to a news release from the Jackson Police Department.
Inside the residence, officers found oxycodone pills, drug paraphernalia, a large amount of marijuana, a .45-caliber handgun that had been reported stolen in Arkansas and more than $26,000 in cash, the release said.
The suspect is being held pending review of charges, the release said.
