Jones was originally arrested after the Division of Family Services received a hot-line call alleging serious physical injuries to a 17-month-old child. An investigation determined that Jones had allegedly used a Drimmel tool to put the child's initials on his stomach, Ferrell said.

Jones bond remains at $500,000.
