"I don't remember anything that happened yesterday," Wendt said at the hearing via video hookup. "I don't know why I'm in jail. I woke up in jail."

Wendt was captured after police fired a flash grenade into his home six hours into a standoff.

Bail was set at $3.5 million. A preliminary hearing was set for March 20.
