SEDALIA, Mo. (AP) -- A man arrested for allegedly videotaping other men in the bathrooms at the Missouri State Fair has been charged with invasion of privacy.
Larry J. Hinson, 41, of Kansas City, Kan., was released Monday on a $5,000 cash bond on a felony charge of second-degree invasion of privacy.
Hinson is accused of filming people without their knowledge when they were partially nude "in a place where one would have a reasonable expectation of privacy," the charge states.
Fair employee William Ballew told Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers Saturday he noticed that a man carrying a briefcase made several trips between bathrooms for about 2 1/2 hours, according to court records.
Troopers contacted Hinson and asked to look in his briefcase, finding a blue towel that was covering a video camera. Investigators also found holes in the stalls.
