MALL MANAGER

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- University Mall here is under new management.

Heitman Properties of Chicago, owner of the mall, has assumed management from David Hocker & Associates of Owensboro, developer of the mall, and will remain as developer.

Mike Murphy, who has worked in mall operations at Atlanta and Dallas, is the new manager of the mall, succeeding John Korey, who has transferred to another Hocker mall.

A new Venture operation will open at the mall in March, along with a food court and several small shops.

Famous Barr is scheduled to open at the mall in 1992.
