MALDEN CHAMBER TO HOLD APPRECIATION DAY

MALDEN -- The Malden Chamber of Commerce will sponsor an Industry Appreciation Day Sept. 29.

A cookout will be co-sonsored by Powell Supply Co., which is celebrating 25 years in business this year. It will be held on the south lawn of the Malden Airport Inn.

Dottie Phelps, chamber executive, said: "We are fortunate to have several industries in Malden and have decided to show our appreciation. There is not a business in town that does not benefit in some way from the industries that are located in Malden."
