However, TEVA officials have told the state the company will withdraw its support for the SenioRx Program if the legislature does not reduce by next May the rebate companies are required to pay for the program.

While 1,400 pharmacies and 100 drug manufacturers participate in the program, major generic drug companies Geneva Pharmaceuticals, Mylan Laboratories, Inc. and TEVA had refused to offer their products.
