MADD TO ORGANIZE LATER THIS MONTH

The Cape Girardeau County MADD Community Action Team will hold its organizational meeting later this month.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, in the Community Counseling Center's Harrison room. The center is at Silver Springs and Bloomfield roads.

MADD stands for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. The meeting's purpose is to recruit people who are interested in helping to fight drunk driving.

During the meeting, information will be shared about the MADD organization and how victims and advocates of this issue can get involved.
