Mothers Against Drunk Driving of Cape Girardeau will hold a candlelight vigil of remembrance and hope to honor the memory of those who have been killed or injured by drunk drivers at a ceremony at the Cape Girardeau Police Department, 40 S. Sprigg St., at 6 p.m. today. Guest speaker will be police chief Steve Strong. Ornaments with the names of victims of drunk driving crashes will be placed on a Christmas tree in the lobby of the police department. Following the vigil, a special presentation will be made to police officers from Cape Girardeau, Jackson, the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
