JEFFERSON CITY -- Robert T. Hewlett, of Metro Ford, Inc., Independence and Bob Allen Ford, Inc., Overland Park, Kansas, has become the 53rd president of the Missouri Automobile Dealers Association (MADA).

MADA's new officers, who assumed duties June 1, are: Hewlett; Bill Shicker, McMahon Ford, St. Louis, Fred Groves Motor Co., Cape Girardeau and Barreth Chrysler Center, Washington, Mo., vice president and president-elect; Larry Sexton, Sellers-Sexton, Inc., St. Roberts and Sellers-Sexton Mitsubishi, Rolla, vice president; and Carl Richardson, Richardson-Wynette Motors, Malden, treasurer.

The Missouri Automobile Dealers Association is made up of 548 new car and truck dealers, with a headquarters staff of 17 people located in Jefferson City.
