CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Harry Sanders, plant manager of the Mildenberger & Willing (M&W) Packaging U.S. Inc., plant, north of Cape Girardeau near the Procter & Gamble plant, will be one of the seminar speakers at a day-long business conference, to be held at the Show Me Center on Southeast Missouri State University campus here April 2.

Sanders, a native of Belgium and a graduate of European Technical University of Ghent, started his career as a service technician for Food Machine Corporation, and was soon responsible for all turn-key FMC projects in eastern Europe. He then went into the flexible packaging field and machine equipment.

He joined M & W in 1988 as an assistant to the owner.

The conference, sponsored by the university's College of Business Administration and the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce's University Relations Committee, will feature a series of six 50-minute, "break-out" seminars, starting at 9 a.m. The schedule is designed to permit any person to attend as many as four of the seminars during the day.

Michael J. Roarty, executive vice president for corporate marketing and communications for Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc., will be keynote speaker during the luncheon.

"Quality and Your Business A Compelling Link" will be the theme of the day-long conference.

Registration for the day's program is $40. The cost to attend the luncheon only is $25. Registrations are available by contacting the Chamber of Commerce here, 335-3312.
