ALTENBURG -- A number of Lutheran Church heads from several countries will be in Altenburg today to tour Trinity Lutheran Church's historic building and grounds, in observance of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod's 150th anniversary.
Luncheon will be served to the delegation, which includes visitors from more than 20 nations.
A number of artifacts will be displayed at the church.
The group will travel from the Great Commission Convocation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Senate, being held in St. Louis through Sunday.
Today's group is the second to tour the Altenburg church and other churches in Perry County this week. A group of U.S. church heads toured churches in Frohna and Altenburg Thursday.
The Great Commission Convocation held in the American Convention Center in St. Louis started Thursday and will feature a festive celebration at Kiel Auditorium, Saturday night.
Lutherans from all parts of the world will attend during the four-day Convocation that ends Sunday.
