ST. LOUIS -- Lucy J. Caldwell, 61, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006.
She was born June 28, 1945, daughter of William Earl and Verda Smith. She was a graduate of Central High School in Cape Girardeau, and an employee for 25 years of the Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School.
She is survived by three daughters, Lori Fowler, Amanda Martin and Melissa Caldwell, all of St. Louis; four sisters, Jo Ann Herod and Mary Ellen Bean, both of Cape Girardeau, Yvonne Robison of Nashville, Tenn., Elaine Reid of Evansville, Ind.; two brothers, Mike Smith and Sam Smith, both of Cape Girardeau; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a grandchild.
