It is a program on how to lose weight and reduce the risk of heart disease by limiting fat in the diet...

From 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 11 a.m. to noon, Linda Lawrence, a cardiac rehabilitation nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, will present "Don't Eat Your Heart Out!" It is a program on how to lose weight and reduce the risk of heart disease by limiting fat in the diet.

Lawrence will explain how to analyze fat content on food labels and replace high-fat foods with low-fat choices.

Another staff member from St. Francis will conduct cholesterol screenings in the library from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Walk-ins are welcome. There will be a $3 charge per screening.
