MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- The Logan Days Celebration will be held Sunday, Monday and Wednesday in Murphysboro.
The Sunday event will include a fried chicken dinner , dedication of the courthouse lights, an ice cream social and bake sale, and entertainment.
These events will take place at 12th and Chesnut Street.

On Monday, there will be demonstrations of crafts and trade skill,s period clothing, Mexican War re-enactments and tours of the Dalton House, archaeological sites and the General John A. Logan Museum.
Similar demonstrations will be given Wednesday, this time with Civil War re-enactors.
The Monday and Wednesday events are scheduled for the General John A. Logan Museum.
