The Southeast Missouri Chapter of the American Red Cross will be holding a Pet First Aid for Cats and Dogs course on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the chapter office, 2430 Myra Drive, in Cape Girardeau. The purpose of the course is to train individuals on how to perform immediate care for an injured animal until it can be taken to a veterinarian for professional medical care. Skills such as rescue breathing, CPR, controlling bleeding and splinting will be discussed...
