LOCAL UPDATE: CALLS FROM SANTA SCHEDULED AGIN THIS YEAR

The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring its 10th annual Calls from Santa program on Monday, Dec. 8, through Thursday, Dec. 11.

Parents can register their child or children by mailing in the form from the Parks and Recreation Fall Brochure, filling out a form at the A.C. Brase Arena, at Schnucks, or by calling the information to the Parks and Recreation Office. The office phone number is (573) 335-5421 and the address is Cape Parks and Recreation Department, c/o Santa Claus, 410 Kiwanis Drive, Cape Girardeau, Mo., 63701.

If you do not have a form and want to mail information in, you can do so by putting the following information on a card or postcard:

Child's name, age, hobbies, interests, pet's names, toys most likely to be received and improvements he or she needs to work on for mom and dad.
