Two local teachers from Cape Christian School were recently invited to make presentations at the Association of Christian Schools International regional convention in Kansas City. The convention was held Sept. 13 and 14 and attracted 1,000 educators. Cape Christian School sixth-grade teacher Rhonda Young presented a program on starting a school newspaper. First-grade teacher Dena Shelton conducted a workshop on cooking in the classroom. ACSI is the governing body for Christian schools and is responsible for their accreditation.
