LOCAL STUDENTS NAMED TANDY TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARS

Tandy Technology scholars announced

Misty Renee Bryeans of Oran was named Outstanding Math-Science-Computer Science Student and Kristi Louise Glueck of Scott City and Stephanie Rae Patterson of Oran were among the top 2 percent of nominees by the Tandy Technology scholars program.

The program gives awards to teachers and graduating seniors at high schools. Each school nominates a senior who is outstanding in mathematics, science or computer science. Thee students receive a certificate recognizing them as a Tandy scholar, and they are eligible to compete for 100 $1,000 scholarships awarded annually.
