Mary Miller, president of the Rotary Club of Cape Girardeau, was among 18,000 Rotarians and guests from 125 countries to gather in Singapore for the 90th annual convention of Rotary International.
Miller attended sessions, panel discussions and workshops about international humanitarian projects. The sessions focused on literacy, poverty, hunger and Rotary exchange programs.
"When it comes to community involvement, it is important that business and professional leaders work with those who are in need," Miller said.
