Robert C. Johnson, son of Naomi (Randol) and the late Lester R. Johnson, formally of McClure, Ill., was recently presented with the Air Force's most prestigious award for scientific research. The ceremony was held at the Pentagon, and the Harold Brown Award for Outstanding Achievement in Research and Development was presented by the Secretary of the Air Force, Dr. Sheila Widnall.
Johnson is a research psychologies in the Armstrong Laboratory at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio where he is chief of the operational logistics branch. He was born in Cape Girardeau, attended schools in the Shawnee School District in Illinois and was graduated from Northeast Missouri State University. He lives in Troy, Ohio, with his wife, Sarah, and their daughters, Mandi and Abby. (PICTURE)
