Kerber, Eck and Braeckel Certified Public Accountants has been named to the "Bowman 100," a ranking of the top 100 CPA firms in the United States.
The ranking is prepared by Bowman's Accounting Report, an Atlanta-based independent newsletter that reports and analyzes the news, trends and strategies affecting CPA firms.
Kerber, Eck and Braeckel serves businesses and individual clients throughout the Midwest. The firm has offices in Cape Girardeau and St. Louis; Springfield, Carbondale and Belleville, Ill.; and Milwaukee, Wis.
The company has a staff of more than 130, including 20 partners and principals. Partners in the Cape Girardeau office are Jim Erlacker, Floyd Weber and John Campbell.
Firms qualifying for the Bowman 100 are considered among the leaders in the U.S. accounting profession, said Arthur W. Bowman, editor of Bowman's Accounting Report. "We look at crucial management and fiscal performance issues," he said.
