Teen to be arraigned on felony charges
A Cape Girardeau teen charged with felony stealing, burglary and property damage was bound over to circuit court Wednesday. Kyle W. Madden, 17, of 535 Asher St., was arrested Sept. 1 after police reportedly found him using a pickax to hammer at a motorized drive-through teller drawer at the Commerce Bank, 1880 Cape La Croix Road. Along with breaking the glass door of the bank and taking the teller drawer, Madden is accused of stealing a Union Pacific truck, which was found at the scene, Madden waived his preliminary hearing and he was ordered to appear in circuit court for arraignment Dec. 11.
Two teenage girls to be arraigned Jan. 11
BENTON, Mo. -- Two 17-year-old girls charged with multiple counts of property damage and tampering with a motor vehicle in the Aug. 22 attacks that targeted Oran buildings and vehicles were bound over to circuit court Wednesday. Heather Turner and Melba Hays waived their preliminary hearing and received an arraignment date of Jan. 11 before Scott County Circuit Judge David Dolan.
Sikeston woman faces sodomy charges
BENTON, Mo. -- A Sikeston, Mo., woman accusing of having oral sex with a 16-year-old girl was bound over to Scott County circuit court Wednesday. Jennifer Foreman, 31, was charged with two counts of felony statutory sodomy. Bond was set at $25,000. Foreman is accused of performing oral sex with the girl in her Benton home on seven occasions between April 5 and the end of June, according to a probable-cause statement. If convicted, Foreman could serve up to seven years in prison for each count. Foreman is scheduled to appear before Associate Circuit Court Judge David Dolan Dec. 14 for arraignment.
