Jackson man injured in single-vehicle accident
A Jackson man was moderately injured in a single-vehicle accident on Monday in Ste. Francois County. Jamie R. Davidson, 27, was taken by ambulance to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington, Mo. The accident reportedly occurred around 10:35 a.m. on Highway 47, north of Rock Road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Davidson's southbound vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. It struck a concrete bridge support, overturned and came to rest in a creek.
Two Perryville, Mo., residents were injured on Sunday in a single-vehicle accident in Ste. Genevieve County. Driver Kirsten R. Kohm, 27, was moderately injured. Passenger Landon J. Carlson suffered minor injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to Ste. Genevieve Memorial Hospital. The accident reportedly occurred around 9:35 p.m. on Route N, south of Route P. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kohm lost control of the vehicle while in a curve. The vehicle skidded off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
