LKS CLUB NAMES STUDENTS OF THE MONTH FOR MARCH

Christy Renee Wren and Cynthia Grooms have been named students of the Month for March by Cape Girardeau Elk's Lodge 639.

Wren, 18, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wren of Cape Girardeau. She is a senior at Central High School where she is involved in varsity softball, varsity cheerleading, the Letterman's Club, DECA, and Young Life. She was also named to Who's Who Among American High School Students.

Grooms, 18, is the daughter of Janet Grooms of Morley. She is a senior at Notre Dame High School. She is active in the Morley VFW Ladies Auxiliary, serving as chaplain for two years. She is head of the publications committee, a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Students Against Driving Drunk, Spanish Club and National Honor Society. She is a junior volunteer at Missouri Delta Medical Center and a volunteer with the mentally handicapped. She also attended Missouri Freedom Forum.
