Let It Snow
By Alisa Uzoaru
We wish for snow as we go to bed,
"Don't get your hopes up," Mother said.
Our minds filled up with snowy scenes,
As we watched out town turn red and green.
So hopeful and excited were we,
That we prayed to God with silent pleas.
So suddenly the snow fell about the town,
That we jumped up to the window and couldn't get down.
When finally I got out of the house,
I danced through the snow and soaked my blouse.
I would never forget the moment,
I know,
When my dream had been fulfilled with wet, cold snow.
My Christmas
By Chris Huffman
There is one present under the tree,
And I hope it's not for me.
I like my presents big and fat,
Not real little and so flat.
I like Christmas just like you,
So you can get me a present too.
Please don't think that this is funny,
I just want a lot of money.
It is now Christmas Eve,
So I have to leave.
Christmas
By Bethany Dietiker
Christ is born,
Hanukkah is coming,
Rejoicing our newborn king,
Icicles hanging off our houses,
Seeing lights all around houses,
Tinsel on Christmas trees,
Mary holding Baby Jesus,
Angels singing,
Santa Claus is coming to my house.
It's Christmas Time
By Tyler Thompson
It's time for Christmas
It happens only once a year
People all full of cheer
Presents are wrapped with care
Santa comes with all the toys
With joy for good girls and boys
Its time for families to be together
It's time for Christmas
Present Wishes
By Daniel Broach
As the snow touches the ground,
I can hear all the children around.
Christmas trees and candy canes
People waiting in checkout lanes.
As the snow is piling
I can see the little children smiling.
For it is Christmas
So children get out your present wishes.
Winter
By Ashley Lamburth
I like to play in the snow,
I like to see it shine and glow.
I like to see it snow all day,
I'd like to see it snow today.
During winter I don't stay inside,
So my front door is always open wide.
While I'm inside I sit warm in my bed,
While I'm outside I'm numb and red.
The Special Time of Year
By Jami Holderfield
Christmas is the time of year to love one another.
You can hear the carolers outside your windows.
It feels like you wait forever for Christmas.
When it gets here, you love the sound of unwrapping paper.
You love the smell of Christmas pies and cookies.
After Christmas, you're sad because everything is gone.
You hope that next year is just as good as this year's.

By Kelly Zinn
Christmas comes once again,
A time of giving to our friends.
A time for all of us to see,
The decorations on the tree.
The fresh snow on the ground.
Can all the presents be found?
Kids sledding down the snow.
Christmas is coming soon, you know.
Christmas Day
By Jenna Wishart
On Christmas morning kids get up early,
They go downstairs to the tree,
They open presents and play with their new toys,
Then it's time to get dressed and go to Grandma's for a big dinner and more presents,
Then they sit and play with the toys they got,
Pretty soon it's time for cookies and cake,
Finally it's time to go home and to bed after a busy day.
Here comes December
By Amanda Rader
Snow falling on my head
Angels sing with joy
The Christmas tree is full of life
Santa is on his way
He has presents for you and me
Put out the cookies for Santa to eat
Now go to bed, for Santa is coming.
Christmas Cheer
By Kyle Tramposh
Christmas morning,
Gifts sitting around the tree,
Waiting for kids to open them.
The kids wake up and see the white snow.
They run downstairs to see the presents glow
Their eyes open wide
They start opening presents.
Clothes, shoes, and toys fill their heart with joy.
A Snowy Sunny Day
By Kristen Golike
Oh how I love the snow,
It makes me smile ever so.
It is so white,
It is so bright.
When I see the snow,
My face starts to glow.
I put on my glove,
Oh how I love,
To go out every day
To laugh and play.
The snow is so fun,
But here comes the sun.
Santa Claus
By Randall Cartwright
Santa gives clothes and toys
To all the girls and boys
He comes down the chimney
And finds a big penny
He throws it in the fire
And bounces up just like a rubber tire
He puts the packages under the tree
And goes up the chimney
He sits in the sleigh and says "Merry Christmas"
And all the people who put cookies onto the plate
Have to wash the dishes.
Winter
By Josh Dickey
Winter is the time of year
Everyone is full of cheer.
The ground now wears a coat of white
It is such a wonderful sight.
It's the time to rejoice
Let us all raise our voice.
We no longer have to wait
It is time to celebrate.
Christmas Cheer
By Heather Nistendirk
Winter is the time of year
To spread a lot of Christmas cheer
In the winter when the cold winds blow
We get lots and lots of snow.
The days are short and the nights are long
You sit around the fire and sing a jolly song
We dream of spring coming near
And hope it brings a wonderful new year.
Rushing Christmas
By Charidy Terry
You're in the Christmas mood, getting ready to decorate.
Then you start to wonder why there wasn't any snow to evaporate.
Then you start to get suspicious
While you're making cookies so delicious.
You began to set up the Christmas tree
While your mind jumps in glee.
Then your mind seems to stop
As you're placing the angel on top.
Finally you start to remember
It's only November.
